And I want you to know
That I'm not letting go
Even when you come undone
Isn't that the most beautiful promise in the world? I know it's not in the Bible, but it's certainly a Biblical principle. (From the Matthew West song More) Sometimes I forget that God is not only always going to care for us, he actually loves us. And he is so big, and so good, that he can love each and every one of us more than we would ever be able to love even our favorite people. And no amount of human love is ever going to be enough. God is the only one who can complete us, make us whole, and truly obliviate all lonliness.
My official word of the year is hope. I don't think there is anything more wonderful. No matter what happens, no matter how bad things look, no matter how bad we screw up, there is always hope for tomorrow. It comes to us in so many ways, in a song, through a person, from a single flower. The Bible is absolutly jam packed with it. With God, it's never the end. Tomorrow is a beautiful thing.

Thanks so much, everyone, for rushing to rescue me when I fell down. I got phone calls, comments, emails, hugs, good advice... the whole nine yards. It's beautiful to be alive, with friends like this.
