Fellowship lunch is tomorrow. I always love fellowship lunches. Of course... the Boyds will be gone. That changes it a lot. But it will still be fun. They always are.
Only 9:12... maybe I'll go shower. That would be better than trying to post when I have nothing to say!

lol... it's a song by hillary duff... lol... i like the song, but needless to say, hillary is a bit lacking. anyways... i wish bad people didn't have to write good songs... it brings up the whole "can i listen to the song?" thing... anyways...

Actualy... I LOVE Hillary.
Sorry, but I can't understand the predjuduces against her. However, I suppose you could say my sampling of her music has been a little limited... and I did hear one song with a music video that was horrible.
But in general, she seems way more sweet and un-self centered than most signer/actrecess. And her song lerics are so thoughtful and the music is perfect. She really has talent, and she doesn't flaunt hersself TOO much in the videos.
Not that she's a good person. I'm just saying, there is some good to take out of her stuff... and that good is enough to make me love her music.

let me put it this way... pippin and i were shopping and i heard that song and the words and was like "oh i like this song..." and she was like "um, no, you don't... it's hillary duff" and i asked why, and she said cause hillary is very inappropriate... and if pippin thinks she's inappropriate then she probably really is.
but i don't think there is anything wrong with listening to the song... just she's probably not a great role model... lol.
but then, who is? Christ is our model... we can value and admire certain traights in other people, but at least for me and in the circles i've been raised in... it's hard to find people you can really look up to.

Not that I like or don't like her, I haven't heard enough of her music to know one way or the other. The way I look at it: If the song is clean and you like it, and it makes you focus on good things instead of bad, then why not listen to it? Just think of it as: if I had no clue who wrote or sang the song, would it like/agree with it? If yes, then I have no problem with it.
From what I've seen as an actress, I think she is a little inaproppriate (sp?) but as a singer so far I haven't notices anything bad.
But really I thought you wrote it Em! When do we get to see something you wrote?

That's true- I havn't seen Hilary acting. Maybe she is inapropriate. I really don't have enough info to say. But I like several of her songs ALOT. I guess saying I love Hilary is a bad thing because she isn't a good person...
