I'd like to be...

Done with this assignment.

Yes, it's Christmas day, but I'm being required to write my favorite Christmas memory for a game. And I have NO idea what that would be.

Not to be Jonny Rain Cloud or anything, but most of my good memories don't come from Christmas time. Can't I talk about Camp Hope, or the fair, or the Talent Show? But no. I must come up with a good Christmas memory.

Well, while I'm thinking: I am evidently becoming known as a total music geek. Which is perfectly okay with me. But among my gifts this Christmas are: Speakers for my MP3 flash drive, a CD, an Itunes gift card, a new fancy portable MP3 player, and new head phones. Oh yes, and a waterproof radio. (????) But it's totaly true. I could live off of music.

I was pleasently surprised at how well my parent's actually know me. Mom did half my shopping at Aeropostale... which is my favorite store and totaly not her domain. But she did very well. And Dad helped with a lot of my gifts, which is good because he and I like a lot of the same stuff. They didn't even try to buy me clothes this year, which (beleive me) I REALLY appriciate.

Let's see. The problem with Christmas is that it's a family holiday... which is wonderful and I wouldn't change that, but it's harder to remember individual events with family because they're always there. It's not like you hold onto individual moments from family time like you would with friends.

Okay, so I don't. Maybe I should.

Well I always remember setting up the Christmas tree when we were little, and how exciting it was. We would listen to a really ugly cream-white Amy Grant tape while we did it. But it was priceless. Maybe that should be my memory.

LOL... the Amy Grant song I was thinking of just came on the radio!!! It's a SIGN!!! No, JK.

But I'm still going to use it.

So everyone... how was Christmas?

Weird as this may sound...among my gifts this Christmas was my very first MP3 player! Which I'm playing with right now! And I'm just a little excited! Can't you tell! Because everything ends in an exclamation point!
Ok, sorry about that. It was just really unexpected and cool. And I'll be posting tomorrow because I haven't in like two weeks and I feel horrible.
Hmmm...favorite Christmas memory? I'll have to think about that one.
Is this one of those deep thoughts that this blog is dedicated to?
Lol, jk.
I love music too. Can't do anything without my music! And now...it's portable!

humhum, this is probably exactly what you would say in a reply to my email anyway. you're right, it gets confusing when there's myspace+blog+email+real life conversations to keep track of.

lolol us music geeks are the best! how much space does your mp3 player have?

waterproof radio. you know. for when you're snorkeling and you need to check the news. or when you're trying to broadcast an important message to the dolphins of the world underwater.

i know what you mean about family memories.

merry christmas!

anna told me later that you guys were thinking about inviting us over if the 'company' (what an ominous word) left by 6. i think the watts should have hatched an evil plan to help the company decide to leave. but that would have been bad. wicked. unethical.

I'm so happy for you Vera! I love my MP3 player. Not as good as an ipod, but close.

When did I dedicate my blog to deep thoughts??? My blog is really more of a 'me being stupid' thing. Like when I HAVE TO TELL SOMEONE... but no one would care... I just tell here! LOL... and you guys care. *hugs*

Yes. You can imagine me.

"Okay, go away now..."

Not the Hammer's, of course. But the other 'company.' Very ominous word. And then we played Apples to Apples... without you...

*sniffle*

Oh, yes, scuba diving... except that it only works up to 1 foot under the water. Seriously, that's what it says on the package.

How much space does my MP3 player have? That's an easy question: I have no idea.

Mine has umm...let me see...7609 MB.
Well, 7131 left of free space. I've been playing with it.
If you go down to System on the main menu, then go to Information, it'll tell you Total space and Free space.
